Pontiac Grand Am Engine And Engine Cooling Safety Report | Oct 31, 2005
Reported on Oct 31, 2005
FAULTY INTAKE GASKET TO ENGINE FROM COOLANT. AFTER LESS THAN 80,000 MILES THE INTAKE GASKET IS LEAKING IN THE 2001 PONTIAC GRAND AM. MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THIS PROBLEM IS NOT RESTRICTED TO AN OCCASIONAL VEHICLE AND IT PRESENTS AN ISSUE OF LOSING FLUID. NOT ONLY IS THIS A SAFETY HAZARD FOR VEHICLE OWNERS, IT IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD AS WELL. *JB | |
