Pontiac Grand Am Engine And Engine Cooling Engine Safety Report | Jan 01, 2005
Reported on Jan 01, 2005
MY 2000 PONTIAC GRAND AM HAS A BAD INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET WITH ONLY 50,000 MILES. MY FRIEND OWNS A REPAIR SHOP, AND SAYS HE GETS AT LEAST ONE GM PRODUCT A WEEK WITH A 3.4 LITER ENGINE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. MANY ALSO HAVE BLOWN HEAD GASKETS!! THIS IS A VERY COMMON AND COSTLY PROBLEM, AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED!! THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THESE CARS ON THE ROAD FOR EVERY CONSUMER TO BE STUCK WITH A $500-3000 REPAIR BILL!!!!!!*AK | |
