Pontiac Grand Am Electrical System Safety Report | Feb 08, 2008

Reported on Feb 08, 2008

I BOUGHT THIS CAR FOR MY TEENAGE SON THINKING IT WAS A SAFE AND RELIABLE VEHICLE, BUT THE CAR WILL SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING AND WILL NOT START SOMETIMES. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE CAR WILL START. THE SECURITY LIGHT WILL ALSO COME ON SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING. FROM WHAT I AM READING THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE TO FIX IT WITHOUT WASTING MY MONEY ON THINGS NOT NEEDED, OR WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. *TR
