Pontiac Grand Am Electrical System Ignition Module Safety Report | Aug 10, 2008

Reported on Aug 10, 2008

IGNITION SWITCH WAS DIFFICULT TO TURN, AND WOULDN'T CONSISTENTLY START THE CAR. IT FINALLY CEASED TO OPERATE COMPLETELY. WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS MY SWITCH AND THE PASSLOCK MODULE. HAD TO REPLACE BOTH. HAVE READ MANY, MANY COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS ISSUE. MY SON ALSO HAS A 2001 PONTIAC, WITH THE SAME CONDITION. *TR
