TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 PONTIAC GRAND AM. HE STATED THAT THE PASS LOCK SECURITY FUNCTION OF THE VEHICLE WAS DEFECTIVE. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, HE COULD NOT START THE ENGINE AND THE SECURITY WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE WARNING PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A SPECIALIST WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE ENTIRE SECURITY SYSTEM FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HIS INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE UNKNOWN REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE BECAME PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE UNDER 150,000. | |
