SECURITY FEATURE FAILURE ON 2003 PONITAC GRAND AM. LIGHT HAD BEEN FLASHING OFF AND ON. GM STATED THIS IS ISOLATED INCIDENT. FORTUNATELY, CAR WAS IN DRIVEWAY, BUT HAD TO BE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP. REPAIR WAS $469. GM ALSO STATED NO ACTIVE RECALLS, BUT DEALERSHIP INFORMED COMPUTER UPDATE FROM 2003 NEEDED. GM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR. HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH BRAKE, BUT WILL INVESTIGATE FURTHER. WILL RESEARCH IF SAME AS OTHER COMPLAINTS. *NM
