TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS ERRONEOUSLY ILLUMINATED WITHOUT THE BRAKES BEING APPLIED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH SHORTED INTERNALLY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000. .... UPDATED 02-20-13 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT ENGAGE AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WOULD RANDOMLY TURN ON.
