Pontiac G6 Service Brakes, Hydraulic Safety Report | Feb 10, 2008

Reported on Feb 10, 2008

CONTINUOUS PROBLEMS WITH BRAKES AND ROTORS ON THIS VEHICLE SINCE IT WAS 3 MONTHS OLD. HAVE HAD ROTORS MACHINED 2 TIMES BY DEALERSHIP SO FAR AND THE BRAKES COMPLETELY FAILED ON FEB 10TH OF THIS YEAR AND WE REAR ENDED A MINI VAN IN FRONT OF US.. THE DEALER SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. NOW OUR ROTORS ARE NEEDING REPLACED AT UNDER 18 K MILES AND THE DEALER WANTS A LOT TO REPLACE THEM. HAVE BEEN ONLINE LOOKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND HAVE SEEN MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME ISSUE. WHY WON'T PONTIAC DO A RECALL ON THIS?*TR
