MY VEHICLE WAS NOT ABLE TO SHIFT OUT OF PARK EVEN THOUGHT THE SHIFTER WOULD MOVE. I BROUGHT IT IN TO THE DEALER BECAUSE IT SHOULD HAVE FALLEN UNDER. US NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 12V460000. THEY BILL READS: REPAIR A: REPLACED TRANSMISSION CABLE CABLE END SEPARATED. REPAIR B: FRACTURED SHIFT CABLE END FITTING LOCKING TABS CAUSE RECALL: INSTALL TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE KIT PER 12106 I FEEL I HAVE BEEN LIED TO AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I DON'T SEE A WAY THAT THE FRACTURED TRANSMISSION CABLE COULD BE A RESULT OF ANYTHING ELSE BUT THE FRACTURED CABLE END FITTING LOCKING TABS. I WAS FORCED TO PAY $300 TO PAY FOR SOMETHING CLEARLY RELATED TO THE RECALL. PLEASE HELP ME FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE DEALERSHIP. *TR
