TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE PARKING THE VEHICLE THE GEAR SHIFT WAS STUCK INTO NEUTRAL AND WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO PARK. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE ADJUSTMENT CLIP HAD FAILED. THE GEAR SHIFT WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO PARK AND THE VEHICLE WOULDL NOT START. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED WHO STATED THERE ARE NO RECALLS AND TOLD THE CONTACT TO CONTACT NHTSA. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED WHO STATED THERE ARE NO RECALLS AND OFFERED NO OTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. | |
