TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED AT 70 MPH, THE CRUISE CONTROL FAILED AND THE EXTERIOR BRAKE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED ABNORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE DIAGNOSED WHERE THE FAILURE WAS LOCATED AT THE BRAKE PEDAL SENSOR. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE PEDAL SENSOR, BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE BRAKE LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING: BRAKE LIGHTS). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSIS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,300.
