| TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS REMAIN ILLUMINATED WITHOUT THE BRAKES BEING ENGAGED. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK. IN ADDITION, THE CRUISE CONTROL IS INEFFECTIVE BECAUSE THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ILLUMINATED. THE VIN IS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE). THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000. | |
