Pontiac G6 Engine Safety Report | Mar 10, 2014

Reported on Mar 10, 2014

WHILE DRIVING MY VEHICLE I EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER STEERING AND A LOSS OF ACCELERATION WHILE DRIVING ON A BUSY MAIN STREET I WAS FORCED TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP . MY CURRENT SPEED BEFORE LOSS OF POWER WAS 45 MPG AND IMMEDIATELY DROPPED TO 0 MILES AS THE DASHBOARD READ POWER STEERING ENGINE DISABLED. LUCKILY MY EMERGENCY LIGHTS STILL WORKED AND I AVOIDED A CRASH BUT I DO HOPE THAT GM RESOLVES THIS ISSUE AND MAKES A RECALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO PREVENT CASUALTIES AND FATALITIES.
