Pontiac G6 Electrical System Safety Report | June 03, 2013

Reported on June 03, 2013

THE BRAKE LIGHTS ON MY 2008 PONTIAC G6 ARE CONSTANTLY ON EVEN WHEN I AM NOT PRESSING ON THE BRAKES. I HAVE NOTICED THAT WHEN I STEP ON THE BRAKES AND RELEASE, THE LIGHTS WILL TURN OFF AND ABOUT THREE (3) SECONDS LATER, THEY WILL APPEAR AGAIN. MY ECM AND PCM WERE REPLACED DUE TO MY ENTIRE COMPUTER/ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN BUT THIS DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE RELATED TO THE ISSUE. FURTHER, MY MECHANIC HAS REPLACED MY BRAKE SWITCH AND THAT STILL DIDN'T SOLVE THIS ISSUE. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS IN THE WORKS RIGHT NOW FOR THIS ISSUE BUT WE CANNOT SOLVE IT. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING. *TR
