Pontiac G6 Air Bags Safety Report | Jan 17, 2013

Reported on Jan 17, 2013

THE PASSENGER AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON FOR AN HOUR AND WENT OUT. IT DID NOT COME BACK ON FOR A FEW DAYS, AND CONTINUED TO BE INTERMITTENT. NOW THE SERVICE AIRBAG MASSAGE IS BEING DISPLAYED. THE CARS LISTED IN THIS RECALL ARE 2006 PONTIAC G6 64100131 - 64146959 ( THAT'S THE LAST 8 DIGITS OF THE VIN). OUR CAR IS IN THE 64200000'S. I BE-LEAVE THIS CAR IS HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE AS THE OTHERS DUE TO THE FACT IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR. THIS RECALL NEED TO BE LOOKED AT AGAIN BEFORE SERIOUS INJURIES OCCUR. ALSO NO NOTICES WERE SENT TO US ON ANY OF THE RECALLS. GM IS REALLY LACKING IN CUSTOMER SAFETY AND CARE. WE ARE TAKING IT IN TO A GM DEALER TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. *TR
