Pontiac Bonneville Visibility Power Window Devices And Controls Safety Report | June 06, 2005

Reported on June 06, 2005

BOTH REAR WINDOWS ON MY PONTIAC BONNEVILLE FELL DOWN FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE FIRST ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND THE SECOND THIS FALL. WE HAVE NO CHILDREN SO NO ONE EVER USED THE REAR WINDOWS. I WIRED THEM UP TEMPORARILY. I LIVE IN A COLD CLIMATE. IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN TO THE FRONT WINDOWS DURING THE WINTER WHILE ON A LONG TRIP WE COULD FREEZE TO DEATH. WE HAVE READ OF OTHER FAILURES OF WINDOWS WITH BONNEVILLES, I FEEL THIS IS A DEFECT WHICH THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR. *JB
