TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 PONTIAC AZTEK. WHILE PARKED THE CONTACT SMELLED GASOLINE AND OBSERVED IT LEAKING FROM THE FUEL TANK. UPON ARRIVING HOME THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE LEAK HAD INCREASED. THE DEALER ADVISED HER TO DRIVE TO THE REPAIR SHOP WITH THE FUEL LEAKING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE GAS TANK, AND STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO GM USING PLASTIC TO CONNECT THE FILLER HOSE TO THE GAS TANK. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 50,100, AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,067.*AK EA07-006.PCO
