Problem with 1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette 1995 olds silhouette wheels locked in park, reverse, neutral, drive, low, 2nd? II have a 95 olds silhoutte that drives fine when driving but as soon as you put it in park or come out to driv Check ur tires. Look for bad tread, bad spots or if car sat 4 a Lng time Tires may b flat spotted. Easiest wld b just tires out of balance. Any service cntr can do this not a lot of $ either. Wors case is ball joints, tie rods and such. If u dr Just bought a used 2000 silhouette today. seller told me the tires were truck tires and that explains the very loud roaring noise in the front. When i get to 30mph i hear a rubbing sound coming from the front. What should i do, it seems unsafe on I'd be suspect about the sellers explanation. Yes the tires could be for a truck but if they are the right size that shouldn't make it ride or sound like it is rubbing and clanking. If they are too large they may rub but usually during slow turns
