Nissan Versa 2010 Structure Frame And MembersNissan Versa 2010 Structure Frame And Members Review #10398418 NISSAN VERSA 2010 car safety problem was reported on Jan 21, 2011.NISSAN VERSA 2010, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS . i am very much motivated to write about nissan versa, the compact/economy vehicle. i have driven this car for about 8 hours and on both occasions it was the same dreadful experience. this car lacks 'balancing ability', specially on the highways, that means, if u drive it at until 40mph, it is fine & normal, beyond that it starts shaking so bad that you cannot even blink your eye or afford to take ur hands away from the steering wheel. the first time, i drove this car, i suffered the first accident of my life...and i pray to god that noone ever experiences that kind of an imbalancing. basically the car totally lost control & i could do nothing to stabilize the car. that happened in delaware. yesterday, april 30, i was driving it on indiana dunes highway & i-94, chicago, perhaps it was the wind, but it only made the shaking much worse. i had a friend drive it and he was scared to death to drive this vehicle. driving this car is like riding on a roller coaster ride, but i was the one behind the wheels. if i had the money, i would definitely go ahead and sue nissan for even releasing this vehicle out for roads. driving a nissan versa is like kayaking through the mirage of gorges.....you have to be attentive all the time, it tends to slip to the left side of the road and wont stay in one lane. it is like trying to keep your boat/ tube in one straight position while the boat keeps flying away...either left or right. i swear if i had suffered another accident yesterday, i would have sued nissan blindly, without a second thought. and i am surprised how come noone has sued them yet for selling a plastic toy for thousands of dollars!!! *tr.Vehicle was involved in a crash. Nissan Versa 2010 Structure Body DoorNissan Versa 2010 Structure Body Door Review #10456382 NISSAN VERSA 2010 car safety problem was reported on Apr 24, 2012.NISSAN VERSA 2010, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR . we bought the basic model of the 2010 nissan versa. our chief complaint is the fact there is only one lock and it is on the driver's side door. i am disabled therefore when i come back from the store or some appointment etc or have my grandchildren or other children from the family, i have found that either someone has parked too close to open the door ( many times and when you are in pain the last thing you want to do in the rain or 90+ weather is wait for someone to come out and move a vehicle when you hurt too bad to walk back wherever you are) or the other problem is leaving children unattended while reaching thru to unlock the passenger door because you actually have to physically get in to reach the other lock. you don't want kids walking across cloth seats with dirty shoes. we need keylocks put on the passenger side doors. it is a matter of safety if anything else. what if there is an emergency and you cannot unlock your car door? we don't like power locks because of the grandkids and children we have with us their ages. but we won't buy another nissan product if you can only enter one door. *tr.Nissan Versa 2010 problem was reported in FALKVILLE, AL. Nissan Versa 2010 EngineNissan Versa 2010 Engine Review #10496961 NISSAN VERSA 2010 car safety problem was reported on July 27, 2010.NISSAN VERSA 2010, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with ENGINE . felt unsafe since purchase 7/2010 dealer refused same day to swap. inspected repeatedly told nothing wrong. 2/2011 began repurchase with nissan told nothing wrong. nissan reg rep tried bribe new tires to drop repurchase before inspection then left. dealer withheld documents. rep said my vehicle had warranty on cvt transmission which it didnt. went to 2nd dealer found transmission bad under warranty then replaced. next day transmission exploded,fluid on back end+roof of car. on interstate smoke came through air ducts couldn't see. fire under hood. nissan had sent cracked transmission. said would repurchase and rep said price no matter get what you need for disability nissan and dealer will cover difference. i said afraid of another versa,nothing close in price or design. rep said we'll cover it. new rep took over retracted everything and laughed at breast cancer. told her wanted supervisor and she gave me coworker [xxx]. said he spoke for nissan no one over him. for 3 mos said didn't care. dealer kept me hostage 6 hours and said i had to sign and buy a car or had to walk stripped of rental car. cost to be decided later pick what i wanted/though i said had no money,returned rental tired of blackmail over no transportation. paid for own rental ran out of money. tackett constantly changed deal. every time i accepted he changed offer. again accepted held me 2hrs then sent 100mi round trip back home to sign a fax. lost another week, and he kept sending wrong papers to sign. sat in nissan hq for 3 hrs.tackett supr found out and tackett call me,i replied you already said you can't address issues.sent certified letters to board blocked by a [xxx]. forced into vehicle i cant drive and now need neck surgery. twice filed other consumer complaints with nissan. suprs assigned to 2nd case closed without consent 3rd ignored. health deteriorated since forced into vehicle. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr.Vehicle was on fire. 0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):3NIBCICP2AL. Nissan Versa 2010 SuspensionNissan Versa 2010 Suspension Review #10644269 NISSAN VERSA 2010 car safety problem was reported on June 30, 2014.NISSAN VERSA 2010, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with SUSPENSION . while driving on a level roadway at a speed of 45mph i noticed a sharp noise come from the front end of the vehicle. just after hearing this noise i noticed the tire monitor light illuminate. i drove to a safe area and saw that the driver's side front tire was completely flat. i took off the front tire and noticed a large puncture in the inside sidewall of the tire and figured i had run over a large bolt or other item and caught it just right on the sidewall. i put the spare on the car and continued to drive home. i noticed that the front of the car seemed to have squatted somewhat and the car was exhibiting a slight pull. upon inspection i found that the driver's side coil spring had snapped it two. this broken spring had then punctured my tire. fortunately it did not immediately cause a blowout of the tire. i see no reason why this spring should have broken. i have since discovered that this very issue appears to happen quite a bit with the nissan versa and is documented in many incidents on the internet. i am outside of the warranty range for the vehicle and will have to eat the cost of this repair. i feel that this failure is probably the result of using inferior metal in the manufacture of the spring. i have never owned another car that had an issue like this. this is not a rust problem either. it is apparently metal fatique/failure. what would happen at highway speeds if the tire had blown? who would accept responsibility when my children are in the car and i am in an accident because of this? there was no warning. how do i continue to drive this car? i am very disappointed with nissan over this issue. i doubt i would buy another of their product because of this. i feel they should take responsibility for their faulty product. i hope by my sharing my experience i can keep others more informed. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 65000 miles. Nissan Versa 2010 WheelsNissan Versa 2010 Wheels Review #10669949 NISSAN VERSA 2010 car safety problem was reported on Jan 02, 2015.NISSAN VERSA 2010, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with WHEELS . i noticed that something was wrong with "feel" of right front wheel so took vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation and asked service to check on that wheel issue. he called me in to see that the right front suspension spring had totally cracked and broken off and had been rubbing on the inside of the tire creating a deep groove in the rubber. it was worn through and close to puncturing and could not even be driven to a dealer. this vehicle has under 37000 miles on it and has been totally maintained and not driven on any poor road surfaces. this was a 15 month old tire with about 14000 miles. totally destroyed in what was a potentially life threatening situation due to a faulty part. not normal wear and tear for springs. the mechanic said he sees this spring breakage on a lot of versas and the nissan dealer acknowledged that nissan is "aware" of this problem! these vehicles should be recalled and all suspension springs replaced immediately before there is a fatal accident on the highway. i am afraid to drive knowing the left side could crack at any time. i am also concerned that if only nissan dealers are reporting the repairs that they do, many repairs by independent mechanics are going unreported to nissan..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 36700 miles. i took my 2005 nissan xterra to a dealership in long beach ca, to have them run a diagnostic test on why my check engine would go off. I drove off having more problems then a had when i took my vehicle into be tested. i paid 1'323.28 for a battery what does it mean when I put my 2004 Nissan Altima in drive and it takes it about 10 or seconds before it will go into drive. The weird thing is I can go into reverse with no problem or lower gear it goes I have a problem with my 2005 Nissan TPMS. After about 10 miles, the reading on the display changes to "**" for 1 of the 4 tires and the low pressure warning light comes on. I've checked pressure on the tires and they are all fine. Why would they not have sensors??? This can result in gradual wear over a period of time inside the joint that could lead to the separation of the wiper linkage assembly from the wiper motor linkage at the joint ball. I have a 05 nissan maxima with 35,000 miles. I'm not having a problem at this time. I would like to know if a transgo Kit for the valvebody will help to prevent future problems with the transmission. I have a 01 Niss UD 2600 No Fuel aqt the inj pump but fuel getting to the pump its been very cold and i have changed both filters. i was told there is a crank sensor in the inj. pump where is it?? And How do i check it
