TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN ROGUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELTS DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE SEAT BELT WAS TIGHTENED AS A TEMPORARY REMEDY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO SENT AN ENGINEER TO EVALUATE THE VEHICLE. THE ENGINEER STATED THAT A CRUSH WASHER WAS MISSING FROM THE SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY AND AS A RESULT, BOTH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
