Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | Sept 01, 2011

Reported on Sept 01, 2011

THE DRIVER'S SEAT ROCKS BACK AND FORTH BECAUSE THE BRACKET THAT HOLDS THE SEAT TO THE BASE HAS BROKEN.THIS SEEMS TO BE A RATHER COMMON OCCURRENCE WITH THIS MODEL.THIS IS A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION BECAUSE THE SEAT IS NO LONGER SOLIDLY AFFIXED TO THE FLOOR.THIS IS A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW,AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY NISSAN.THE REPLACEMENT PART TO REMEDY THIS IS ALMOST $500.00 AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LABOR. *TR
