Nissan Murano Seats Safety Report | Dec 07, 2010

Reported on Dec 07, 2010

WE HAVE A 2007 NISSAN MURANO. IN DECEMBER I REALIZED MY DRIVERS SEAT WASN'T ATTACHED ON ONE SIDE. THE SEAT LIFTER WAS BROKEN. I DROVE WITH 1/2 OF MY SEAT NOT BEING ATTACHED FOR 2 MONTHS BECAUSE THERE WAS A NATIONAL BACKORDER ON THIS PART. I WAS TOLD BY THE REPAIR TECHNICIAN THAT THEY'VE SEEN THIS A LOT RECENTLY, AND THAT IT WAS A THIN PIECE OF METAL SO IT BROKE EASILY. I WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THIS SAFETY ISSUE, BECAUSE MY INFANT CAR SEAT WAS BEHIND MY DRIVERS SEAT. I WAS WORRIED MY SEAT WOULD DETACH IN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
