MITSUBISHI EXPO LRV 1992 car safety problem was reported on Dec 20, 2001.MITSUBISHI EXPO LRV 1992, manufactured by MITSUBISHI MOTORS NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with SEAT BELTS . THE DRIVER SIDE AUTOMATIC (SHOULDER) SEAT BELT IS STUCK IN THE UP POSITION AND HENCE CAN'T BE USED. THE SANE PROBLEM WAS THERE THREE YEARS BEFORE AND THE DEALER SAID ITS IN RECALL AND FIXED IT. BUT THIS TIME HE SAID THERE IS NO RECALL AND IT COSTS $700 TO FIX IT. DRIVER'S SEAT BELT RAIL ASSEMBLY BROKE. I TOOK IT TO SEVERAL MECHANICS. GLENDALE, CA DEALER SAID THE PARTS ARE OBSOLETE. C & C COLLISION IN PASADENA ON 8/23/2012 WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT SAFE BY DISENGAGING THE CABLE/MOTOR MECHANISM. THANK YOU, NHTSA, FOR CONTACTING MITSUBISHI ON MY BEHALF, TO GET IT REPAIRED PROPERLY. I KNOW MITSUBISHI IS NOT REQUIRED TO KEEP THESE PARTS THIS LONG, BUT I ....WONDERED IF NHTSA HAD METHODS OF GETTING MANUFACTURERS TO HELP HER. No recall for the knob. There is a recall on the gearing for the air blend door on the airbox under the dash right above the gas pedal. it has improved geometry so you dont have to exert as much force on the knob for the air blend door to move. a

mine is broke too. cant change it to defrost mode. just blows out cold air in my face

2002 Galant. Won't take fuel through the fuel neck at a normal pace. Keeps backing up. Has all emmision and EVAP checked and all are functioning. I replaced fuel filler neck and made sure all vent hoses were clear. What else could it be?
