Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 2007 Latches/locks/linkagesMitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 2007 Latches/locks/linkages Review #10234442 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE SPYDER 2007 car safety problem was reported on June 20, 2008.MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE SPYDER 2007, manufactured by MITSUBISHI MOTORS NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES . when vehicle is left in ambient temperatures above 85 degrees, attempting to raise or lower the convertible top is sometimes interrupted when the power tonneau cover door reaches the open position, resulting in complete inability to complete the operation. tonneau cover door remains locked in the raised position making driving vehicle impossible. when pulling over to raise top with rain approaching, this becomes dangerous, as raising the top to up and locked position must be done manually, a process that takes upwards to about 20 minutes. the sensor switch located on the piston for the tonneau cover door is the problem, it sometimes shows the door partially opened in warm temperatures, giving a false reading, stopping the movement of the top. my car was taken to the dealership twice with this problem. it is hard to recreate, unless the car is left outside in high temperatures. the piston has been replaced. there are currently no tsb's for this problem, yet i am aware of at least one other car, same model and year with the identical problem that was at the same dealership as mine at the same time. *tr.Mileage was 12100 miles. Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder 2007 Reports
1998 3000gt sl, automatic transmission periodically loses power when shifting into passing at 50 to 60 miles per hour. Had transmission rebuilt but the problem is still happening. Any ideas to the cause? 1998 mitsubishi galant seems to be having anti-theft problems. My guess, what the car is doing, is starting up, being able to drive it, but it kind of feels funny, I get to where I'm going, and turn off the car, when I come back, it won't start. I My son has a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer LS with about 120, 000 miles on it. The blend door is stck and i need to find the blend door kit for it. Does a nybody know where i might get it! 2003 Mitsubishi Montero sport, gets cold horn goes off and finally breaks and seems to be on most of the time now. Mitsubishi won't recall to fix their garbage and want to charge you 1K to fix, but that just makes me a 1 time customer. Mitsubi No recall for the knob. There is a recall on the gearing for the air blend door on the airbox under the dash right above the gas pedal. it has improved geometry so you dont have to exert as much force on the knob for the air blend door to move. a mine is broke too. cant change it to defrost mode. just blows out cold air in my face Temp. control knob is broke. the knob to choose from feet defog, etc only turns a little bit. its all jacked up. 2003 lancer i have a 99 mits eclipse GS '99 model and i pushed a latch on the inside of the passenger door and now it wont go back so now the door wont close.. anyone have any ideas how to release it so that my will close thanks much appreciated... Whats the problem with the endeavor windshield it keeps cracking this is my third time replacing it in my 2004 2002 Galant. Won't take fuel through the fuel neck at a normal pace. Keeps backing up. Has all emmision and EVAP checked and all are functioning. I replaced fuel filler neck and made sure all vent hoses were clear. What else could it be? Has anyone had problems with their check engine lights? I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Oulander the serive light will not go out, the diagnostics state a evap leak yet despite all testing there is no leak detected. My gas cap is fine and neither my pers My 07 Mitsubishi Raider malfunction indicator light lit on ?
