Mitsubishi Diamante 1992 Engine And Engine Cooling Engine Gasoline Review #762368 MITSUBISHI DIAMANTE 1992 car safety problem was reported on .MITSUBISHI DIAMANTE 1992, manufactured by MITSUBISHI MOTORS NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE . hello and thanks first of all for your time, until july 5th of 1999 i truely enjoyed my car. i was driving on i57 on july 5th at 65 mph and my car suddenly lost power. i having roadside service called from my cell phone a tow truck. the tow truck driver arrived who was also a repair person and also owner of the repair shop. he informed me he would tow my car to his shop and notify me the next day of the repairs. i being 1 1/2 hours from home had to call a relative to pick me up. i was 11:30 pm i had no way to rent a car. the following morning mr loy the owner called me to advise me that my motor had gone out. i the asked what the cost another motor would be i was advised a used motor would be $2915. i then made about 50 calls to other service centers to find out the $2900 was a fair price. my has always been well maintained. i was of course very upset to find out by about 35 of the 50 mechaincs i talked to advised me, i you let the diamonte idel it will burn oil then without notice your engine will blow. i of course still owing money on my car had it repaired. along with a $110 towing bill from the interstate. this actually getts worse. in november of the same year(1999) this whole issued repeated! this time i was on my lunch hour and my car lost power again. i had my car towed to a nearby imported shop. certainly knowing this time it would not be a big repair welllllllll my engine had gone out again!!!!!! this time like the first time in tears. this repair for the second motor cost my $3200 . thanks*ak.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):JA3XC57B0NY. 1998 3000gt sl, automatic transmission periodically loses power when shifting into passing at 50 to 60 miles per hour. Had transmission rebuilt but the problem is still happening. Any ideas to the cause? 1998 mitsubishi galant seems to be having anti-theft problems. My guess, what the car is doing, is starting up, being able to drive it, but it kind of feels funny, I get to where I'm going, and turn off the car, when I come back, it won't start. I My son has a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer LS with about 120, 000 miles on it. The blend door is stck and i need to find the blend door kit for it. Does a nybody know where i might get it! 2003 Mitsubishi Montero sport, gets cold horn goes off and finally breaks and seems to be on most of the time now. Mitsubishi won't recall to fix their garbage and want to charge you 1K to fix, but that just makes me a 1 time customer. Mitsubi No recall for the knob. There is a recall on the gearing for the air blend door on the airbox under the dash right above the gas pedal. it has improved geometry so you dont have to exert as much force on the knob for the air blend door to move. a mine is broke too. cant change it to defrost mode. just blows out cold air in my face Temp. control knob is broke. the knob to choose from feet defog, etc only turns a little bit. its all jacked up. 2003 lancer i have a 99 mits eclipse GS '99 model and i pushed a latch on the inside of the passenger door and now it wont go back so now the door wont close.. anyone have any ideas how to release it so that my will close thanks much appreciated... Whats the problem with the endeavor windshield it keeps cracking this is my third time replacing it in my 2004 2002 Galant. Won't take fuel through the fuel neck at a normal pace. Keeps backing up. Has all emmision and EVAP checked and all are functioning. I replaced fuel filler neck and made sure all vent hoses were clear. What else could it be? Has anyone had problems with their check engine lights? I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Oulander the serive light will not go out, the diagnostics state a evap leak yet despite all testing there is no leak detected.
