No recall for the knob. There is a recall on the gearing for the air blend door on the airbox under the dash right above the gas pedal. it has improved geometry so you dont have to exert as much force on the knob for the air blend door to move. a mine is broke too. cant change it to defrost mode. just blows out cold air in my face Got into a collison in a 2001 eclipse got hit on front and rear the air bags never deployed got hit at about 50mph about 3 times My son was killed in an accident in a raider 2007 just 2 weeks ago.
