THE SEAT BELTS IN THIS CAR DO NOT RETRACT CORRECTLY, THEY ACTUALLY ALLOW FOR TOO MUCH SLACK AND MOST OF THE TIME I HAVE TO MANUALLY DRAW THE SLACK BACK INTO THE MECHANISM. I FEEL THIS LACK OF FUNCTION OF MY SEAT BELTS PUTS ME AND MY PASSENGERS IN DANGER...I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS ISSUE FROM DAY 1 TO MY DEALER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SEAT BELTS AND THAT THEY WOULD EVENTUALLY BREAK IN. OH, THEY'RE BROKEN IN ALRIGHT...BUSTED IS MORE LIKE IT. NO PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED OR REPAIRED AS OF YET AND I WOULD REALLY LIKE FOR THIS PROBLEM TO BE ADDRESSED. I HAVE TIRED OF MESSING WITH MY SEAT BELT, AND SINCE I AM GOING TO BE GETTING MARRIED I FEAR FOR MY FIANCEE. SHE ACTUALLY LIKES THE CAR QUITE A BIT, BUT SHE DOESN'T WEAR THE SEAT BELT BECAUSE SHE SAYS IT IS IRRELEVANT TO DO SO SINCE THEY DO NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. MY CAR HAS DONE THIS SINCE PURCHASED IN 2003, AND I'VE HAD AN INCEDENT WHERE THE LOCK SHOULD HAVE ENGAGED WHEN HARD BREAKING, BUT THE BELT DID NOT. 1998 3000gt sl, automatic transmission periodically loses power when shifting into passing at 50 to 60 miles per hour. Had transmission rebuilt but the problem is still happening. Mitsubishi won't recall to fix their garbage and want to charge you 1K to fix, but that just makes me a 1 time customer. Mitsubi No recall for the knob. There is a recall on the gearing for the air blend door on the airbox under the dash right above the gas pedal. it has improved geometry so you dont have to exert as much force on the knob for the air blend door to move. a mine is broke too. cant change it to defrost mode. just blows out cold air in my face Temp. control knob is broke. the knob to choose from feet defog, etc only turns a little bit. its all jacked up. 2003 lancer i have a 99 mits eclipse GS '99 model and i pushed a latch on the inside of the passenger door and now it wont go back so now the door wont close.. anyone have any ideas how to release it so that my will close thanks much appreciated... Whats the problem with the endeavor windshield it keeps cracking this is my third time replacing it in my 2004 2002 Galant. Won't take fuel through the fuel neck at a normal pace. Keeps backing up. Has all emmision and EVAP checked and all are functioning. I replaced fuel filler neck and made sure all vent hoses were clear. What else could it be?
