Lexus Ls400 1993 Tires Tread/beltLexus Ls400 1993 Tires Tread/belt Review #731752 LEXUS LS400 1993 car safety problem was reported on Sept 10, 2000.LEXUS LS400 1993, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with TIRES:TREAD/BELT . i bought a car from lexus dealership on june 26, less than 3 month ago. it is a 1993 lexus ls400 with 67400 miles on odometer at the time of purchase. last sunday my family: my wife, daughter and myself went for a 4 day vacation to lake shasta. it was our first long trip in lexus. until then there were only up to 50 miles trips. after about two hours of driving at 65-70 miles per hour something happened. we heard something fell out from the car and i barely had the car under control. when i stopped the car we saw that the tread of left rear tie is destroyed/missing. some other parts including left rear door are damaged/missing. i suppose it happened because the radius of the tire increased without the tread. when we drove back september 13 the same happened with the right rear tire. again, after 2 hours of driving at 65-70 miles per our we heard a part felling out. the tread of right rear tire was destroyed. some other parts were missing/damaged/scratched. both tires were installed when i bought the car. they are the same make: cooper lifeliner classic ii.( dot number: tire size: p225/60r16 ).Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):JT8UF11E6P0. Lexus Ls400 1993 Electrical System Review #10294337 LEXUS LS400 1993 car safety problem was reported on Jan 15, 2007.LEXUS LS400 1993, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . the gauge cluster lighting on my 1993 lexus ls400 does not come on unless it is above 75 degrees or so outside or in the passanger compartment. the lighting of the gauge cluster is not just needed at night. with the gauges being electronicly lit you can't see your speed, revs, engine temp, or fuel level day or night unless the car is fully warmed up or it's hot outside. needless to say that in the winter even during the day, the lights are no where neer warm enough to light up. lexus has no suggestions other than replace the unit with an expensive brand new one that will have the same problem in a few years. they have not made any change to the circutry or lighting in order to accomadate for their problem..Lexus Ls400 1993 problem was reported in OVERLAND PARK, KS. Lexus Ls400 1993 Fuel/propulsion SystemLexus Ls400 1993 Fuel/propulsion System Review #10583578 LEXUS LS400 1993 car safety problem was reported on Apr 01, 2014.LEXUS LS400 1993, manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation had a problem with FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM . recently the car began to stumble under acceleration while driving up a hill or merging into traffic or maintaining speed while driving on the interstate. i initially thought it was a fuel supply issue so i changed out the fuel filter, without any improvement in the problem. i was going to change the fuel pump also and while researching on the internet i learned of a problem with bad electrolytic capacitors inside the car's ecu (engine computer) which can mimic a fuel supply problem. i am a trained electronics technician, so i removed and disassembled the vehicle's ecu and replaced 2 capacitors (cost, less than $1) that i could see were bad (leaking electrolyte fluid). i test drove the car and the "fuel supply problem" was gone, it drove normally again and did not stumble when the accelerator pedal was pressed. i ordered the other 5 or 6 electrolytic capacitors in the ecu (from an outside source, the dealer will only sell a complete ecu for $2000 plus) to hopefully prevent future occurrences. in conclusion, it appears the bad capacitors are the result of a "large-scale industrial espionage foul-up". not a joke! this resulted in defective capacitors being used in many electronic assemblies (consumer electronics, automotive, household, etc.) until the issue was discovered, see www.badcaps.net for the story. i forget where i learned of the capacitor problem on the ls400, but it was just by searching online. so basically, lexus is charging customers over $2000 to repair a safety issue (that is caused by less than $5 worth of parts (retail cost) and a little soldering skills/labor) that was the result of improperly designed/manufactured electronic components from their supplier. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 155000 miles. Seems that 2006 2007 IS250 & IS350 owners would rather talk to each other about problems with the drivers knee airbag harness. I've been told by a Lexus service manager that both airbags and seatbelts are disabled when the "airbag light" is i windshield casing on drivers side has pulled away from frame causing air noises. Do alot of 2010's have this issue? I have a steering column that squeaks when I turn my '01 Lexus RX-300. All of this stuff is starting to make. My husband was driving a 2001 lexus gs 1999 Lexus RX300.....Passenger seat belt light keep blinking when somebody seat on the front.Thank you for your help. 93 gs300, out of the blue,, car died, towed home, started ran fine, 5 min. later dies. got to run again, 7 min dies. noticed with key on all the injectors are clicking irratically, then while trouble shooting,, everything, comes to a stop, when recently, on my 1992 SC400, a loud beep apparantly coming from the right door speaker comes immediately after starting the car. I've turned off the radio and it still beeps. i have a problem with my lexus sc430 cabriolet. i cant open luggage and i cant be it cabrio. plz help me.
