TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 ISUZU RODEO. WHILE DRIVING AT 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO INDEPENDENTLY VEER TO THE RIGHT. THE CONTACT WAS BARELY ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT MOVED OFF THE ROADWAY AND DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR FRAME WAS RUSTED AND THE LOWER LINK HAD FRACTURED FROM THE FRAME DUE TO CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL REPAIR FACILITY WHERE HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS BEYOND REPAIR AND UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 160,000. | |
