Isuzu Rodeo Structure Body Safety Report | July 31, 2013

Reported on July 31, 2013

WHILE DRIVING I FELT THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE SWING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT, THEN SECONDS LATER THERE WAS NO BRAKE. I WENT TO INVESTIGATE AND NOTICE THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME OF THE CAR WAS ROTTED OUT. THE BRACKET THAT HOUSE THE SHOCK WAS ROTTED OUT, WHICH CAUSED THE SHOCK TO BREAK LOOSE AND SEVER THE BREAK LINE. THE BRACKET THAT ATTACHED THE AXLE TO THE FRAME WAS ALSO ROTTED AND IS SEPARATING. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SAFELY, NO ONE WAS HURT. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT PROCESS TO TAKE TO ENSURE VEHICLE ISSUES ARE CORRECTED CONSIDERING THIS YEAR ,MAKE AND MODEL WAS ON THE RECALL LIST, AND THAT SEVERAL NEWS CHANNEL (TEAM 5 INVESTIGATES) AS DONE REPORT ON THIS VERY PROBLEM. *TR
