Isuzu Rodeo Service Brakes, Hydraulic Antilock Safety Report | Sept 22, 2000

Reported on Sept 22, 2000

THIS INCIDENT HAS OCCURRED TWICE. ONCE UNDER DRY CONDITIONS AND ONCE UNDER WET CONDITIONS. THE MOST RECENT INCIDENT IS DESCRIBED HERE. WHILE APPROACHING A STOP SIGN DURING A STORM, I APPLIED THE BRAKES AS I CROSSED A ROUGH PATCH OF PAVEMENT. AT THIS TIME I FELT THE BRAKE SYSTEM SKIP OR FAIL BRIEFLY UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO REAPPLY PRESSURE TO THE PEDAL. I HAVE NOTED OTHER RODEO OWNER COMPLAINTS ABOUT ABS PROBLEMS ON THE NET AND HAVE DECIDED TO CONTACT YOU. I HAVE NOT NOTIFIED THE DEALER YET BUT PLAN TO ON MY NEXT SERVICE CALL. *AK
