Reported on June 16, 1999

SINCE 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE, WE HAVE HAD THE FOLLOWING ONGOING PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE: THE ENGINE SURGES AND REVS TO OVER 2,000 RPMS SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LURCH FORWARD, MOST TIMES WHEN COMING TO A STOP. WE MUST CONCENTRATE ON KEEPING OUR FOOT SECURELY ON THE BRAKE IN ORDER TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM LUNGING INTO THE REAR OF A VEHICLE AHEAD OR INTO A CROSSWALK.*AK
