Hyundai Tucson 2006 Unknown Or OtherHyundai Tucson 2006 Unknown Or Other Review #10759427 HYUNDAI TUCSON 2006 car safety problem was reported on July 24, 2015.HYUNDAI TUCSON 2006, manufactured by Hyundai Motor America had a problem with UNKNOWN OR OTHER . i purchased my vehicle in july and it was in absolutely wonderful condition mechanically and physically.it had routine maintenance per the carfax report and meticulous care by its previous owner, with mostly "highway" mileage and new tires. after a little over a month of ownership, i lifted the rear window and first one latch snapped due to corosion, followed by the second and the window i caught luckily in my hands!thank goodness i was not driving on the highway and this would have happened, possibly causing a shattered window and dangerous conditions on the roadway!i was quoted $70 per latch for a replacement by the local hyundai dealer plus installation costs.i have had hatchback vehicles before and have never had this happen regardless of the car's age, and especially from one taken care of so unbelievably well by its only owner. since this occurred i have heard of other instances of this with hyundai tucsons and that they are readily kept in stock-which causes me to believe this a common occurrence and poor design. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 138000 miles. I was told by mechaNIC THE THE REAR BUSHING TO THE PASSENGER LOWER CONTROL ARM IS WORN 93 lantra ..... cant bleed air lock out of cooling system after replacing radiator malfunction indicator light stays on and it says to check I have a patent for exterior seat-belt light. When your seat belt is not on the light goes on. Patent # 593228. I also own and drive a Hyundai. thanks Bill Finn I had a problem with stability control in a 2010 AWD hyundai Tuscon in windy conditions. I was driving on a straight stretch of road in New Mexico and with gusts of wind the car tilted onto  the 2 right wheels.  I was so shaken I pulled off the 2010 Santa Fe Limited alternator failed within 2000 km of new. Are there any service bulletins out on this? I have a 2006 Sonata 2.4 which frequently fails to start on first attempt and appears to be getting more frequent. In addition the fule consumption averages about 13 l/100km. Low revs are sometimes uneven and 1st gear pull off shudder is frequentl hyundai 3500 generator ,no gas going to sparkplug sounds like clutch, i believe you need to change it!
