HONDA VT1100C2 2007 car safety problem was reported on Dec 10, 2008.HONDA VT1100C2 2007, manufactured by HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.) had a problem with STRUCTURE:MOTORCYCLE KICKSTAND/CENTER STAND . TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA VT1100C2S. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 40 MPH, THE KICKSTAND SLAMMED DOWN ONTO THE PAVEMENT AND THEN RETURNED TO ITS NORMAL POSITION. THE KICKSTAND THEN GEARED INTO THE GROUND AND CAUSED THE MOTORCYCLE TO RAISE UP ON ONE SIDE AND FALL OVER. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A FRACTURED SHOULDER AND OTHER MINOR INJURIES. THE DEALER STATED THAT HE COULD BRING THE MOTORCYCLE IN FOR INVESTIGATION AFTER 21 DAYS. THE MOTORCYCLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 3,200. My 94 GL 1500 sends off a vibration when you let off the gas...traveling at 80-90 +mph or so it will rumble until you slow to about 60 mph ....a little scary, it makes me think its going to lock up...I had a previous 94 gl that did the same thing
