Honda Cr-v 2000 TiresHonda Cr-v 2000 Tires Review #730774 HONDA CR-V 2000 car safety problem was reported on Sept 07, 2000.HONDA CR-V 2000, manufactured by HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.) had a problem with TIRES . i was driving on the freeway approximately 65 miles per hour on 9/7/00 2:25pm (approx). blow out occurred, took control of the car while traveling a busy freeway. i managed to pull off the road without hitting any other car. i got off the car, noticed that the tire was completely off the rim, tire was half a mile (approx) away. called roadside assitance, tire was changed. photos were taken of the damage to the car and remaining portion of the tire on the rim. i was told (by a firestone manager) to retrieve the tire on the freeway, which i have in my possesion, to determine the cause. i have not been able to do that since i work. i did not drive the crv today, i drove my other car. i had maintenance performed on my car on 9/5/00 and no tire problems were reported. have there been any other similar incidences of this type of blowout to this tire. what can be and/or what should be done in this case? i am experiencing soreness /aches in my neck and back. please advise. thank you.( dot number: ).1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Honda Cr-v 2000 problem was reported in CHULA VISTA, CA. Honda Cr-v 2000 Unknown Or OtherHonda Cr-v 2000 Unknown Or Other Review #10443164 HONDA CR-V 2000 car safety problem was reported on Dec 01, 2011.HONDA CR-V 2000, manufactured by HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.) had a problem with UNKNOWN OR OTHER . at approx 147,000 miles, check engine light came one. after determining it was not due to leaking gas cap, ran a diagnostic on it. it produced error codes of p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303, p0304 and p1399 (all misfire codes). took it to a highly recommended mechanic where they also ran their own diagnostic with same error codes. the checked the valves right away because there is a known issue (defect) with the first gen crv head. honda has admitted the problem and re-designed the head for my year model to eliminate the value problem. my heads had already been adjusted at 95k (as recommended by the honda dealer service dept) although the recommended adjustment is at 105k miles. with mine requiring adjustment 10k miles sooner, this should be a red flag of a problem with my engine. but now there is no room for further adjustment; only solution is to replace the head with the re-designed head. in earlier years (2006) honda was replacing at no cost through their goodwill program. they won't assist me in any way - in fact, american honda customer service told me there was no such thing as a honda goodwill program. i found out about the program because my dealership told me about it and that american honda and denied my request! i had every single required maintenance service performed at our local honda dealership; on time or early as recommended. the only time it was ever taken somewhere else was for a few oil changes and that was only because honda couldn't work me in according to my work schedule. the reason i purchased a honda in first place was because we were told that any honda that was maintained per the recommended service manual should last 300-400k miles. i didn't even get half of that! never again - no more honda's for me. *tr.Mileage was 147000 miles. Honda Cr-v 2000 Power Train Review #10572726 HONDA CR-V 2000 car safety problem was reported on Mar 15, 2013.HONDA CR-V 2000, manufactured by Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) had a problem with POWER TRAIN . this car vibrates a lot when i am driving at any speed. it has been going on for several years. i did not find out the specific problem until 3/15/2014. i had three different mechanics look at the car for the problem. they all said that the rear u-joint on the propeller shaft is badly damaged. this u-joint is not repairable by honda design because it is a part of the propeller shaft. according to the honda dealer, the entire shaft must be replaced at a cost of about $1800. i believe that it is a manufacturing defect. the propeller was probably defective when i bought the car. according to the mechanics, they have never seen this problem before. this car has never been in any major accident to cause this problem. it is a safety hazard which should be covered by honda. the problem was probably there when i bought the car but it has gotten worse since then. my husband and i have driven the car mostly locally all these years. my husband, [xxx], has my permission to act on my behalf in this matter. My 94 GL 1500 sends off a vibration when you let off the gas...traveling at 80-90 +mph or so it will rumble until you slow to about 60 mph ....a little scary, it makes me think its going to lock up...I had a previous 94 gl that did the same thing my 2003 Honda Accord started with replacing power steering pump then power steering hose{recall} now I have a leaking power steering rack seems all connected to me should be a recall for the rack also? Is it possbile for wheel cyclinder to be leaking after only 20,000 miles on a 2003 Civic Honda? 2005 Honda CRV - Front struts noisy over small bumps in road Since new problems have included pull to the right, grinding noise from rear diff, crack in windhshield all across the bottom of the glass from side to side no chipping just a long horizontal crack just above the dash line. Front struts make a hug the check engine light is staying on on my cbr1000rr 06. do you have to adjust the valves and fuel when you remove baffles from a 1995 honda 750 magna????
