Ford F650 2001 Power Train Clutch AssemblyFord F650 2001 Power Train Clutch Assembly Review #10017039 FORD F650 2001 car safety problem was reported on Apr 30, 2003.FORD F650 2001, manufactured by FORD MOTOR COMPANY had a problem with POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY . since the purchase of our 2001 ford f650, we have had continual problems that are the obvious result of a manufacturer's defect. not only has this problem cost us money, but we believe that it is a safety risk that cannot be ignored. the clutch itself will fail on the truck in the middle of traffic. the exact problem lies in the clutch cylinder, which, we have replaced an amazing five times. after talking with dealers of this truck and researching others who have purchased this truck for commercial use, we have found that they are having the same problems. not only have we had problems with this particular truck, but the same exact problem is happening with another 2001 f650 that we purchased at the same time. due to these continual problems with the clutch, we were forced to have the transmission rebuilt. not only was this costly, but there is no way to prevent us from continuing to replace our clutch cylinder and eventually replacing the transmission once again. when the clutch fails on the highway, it becomes difficult in the middle of a busy interstate to steer the truck off the road. we are constantly delivering to busy metropolitan areas, and we purchased this truck with the idea that it was completely safe. however, the clutch continues to fail, and the replacement parts, too, are defective. *jb.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 136888 miles. my 95 ford exploere engine surges when turn my air conditioner on Ihave a 1994 ford probe which has started to idle very low and stalls at times. It is a 4 cyl. w/ air and a 5 speed. any ideas? I replaced the fuel filter, air flow meter and added HEAT to gas tank to dry and clean fuel system. I think my pcv valv should a standard transmission truck start when it is in gear without the clucth engaged? should a 2005 standard transmission ford ranger start when in gear without the clutch engaged? 96 Ford F250 Emergency brake lever gets caught on the auto adjustment spring, causing brakes to be permanently engaged, also allowing the parking break lever to rub against the hub, which can cut through over time. try pushing the pedals button closer to you. you must have the pedal adjustment button to the left of the radio, looks like a foot, that brings the pedals more inward towards the driver. hope it helped. or look carefully if a wire has corroded. it i would check ur multi switch on ur stearing colum on the pedal whats the sound Just bought an '06 E-350 van. Left d'ship got on highway and noticed shimmy when I got to 60....same problem???? that happened to me last night! If you rock the car back and for while shifting then it should release the safety lock! why does it take turning off the veh. while pulling in on the shifter arm, them starting it again while still holding it inwards ever so slightly??
