IN-TANK FUEL PUMP FAILED AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES, STRANDING US BESIDE THE ROAD FOR MANY HOURS IN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS LOCATION. WAS NOT DIAGNOSED ON FIRST FAILURE. WHEN COOL, WORKED AGAIN, AND WE WENT ON. FAILED AGAIN ON NEXT DAY. DEALER WHO REPAIRED STATED 42ND PUMP REPLACE SO FAR THIS YEAR. IF ONE DEALER REPLACED THIS MANY, PROBLEM MUST BE ENORMOUS NATIONWIDE.I BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE IT CAN STRAND YOU IN DANGEROUS LOCATIONS. WE WERE TOWED THE FIRST TIME, BUT THE PROBLEM HAD GONE AWAY BY THE TIME WE WERE DROPPED OFF. THE SECOND TIME, THE DEALER ADVISED US TO LET IT COOL DOWN AND DRIVE IN. THE DEALER HAD REPLACED SO MANY HE KNEW JUST WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS.COST OF REPAIRS WAS $658.59. I BELIEVE FORD SHOULD RE-IMBURSE FOR REPAIRS CONSIDERING LARGE NUMBER OF FAILURES, AND THE SAFETY ISSUE!.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):3FCMF53G3SJ. my 95 ford exploere engine surges when turn my air conditioner on Ihave a 1994 ford probe which has started to idle very low and stalls at times. It is a 4 cyl. w/ air and a 5 speed. any ideas? I replaced the fuel filter, air flow meter and added HEAT to gas tank to dry and clean fuel system. I think my pcv valv should a standard transmission truck start when it is in gear without the clucth engaged? should a 2005 standard transmission ford ranger start when in gear without the clutch engaged? 96 Ford F250 Emergency brake lever gets caught on the auto adjustment spring, causing brakes to be permanently engaged, also allowing the parking break lever to rub against the hub, which can cut through over time. try pushing the pedals button closer to you. you must have the pedal adjustment button to the left of the radio, looks like a foot, that brings the pedals more inward towards the driver. hope it helped. or look carefully if a wire has corroded. it i would check ur multi switch on ur stearing colum on the pedal whats the sound Just bought an '06 E-350 van. Left d'ship got on highway and noticed shimmy when I got to 60....same problem???? that happened to me last night! If you rock the car back and for while shifting then it should release the safety lock! why does it take turning off the veh. while pulling in on the shifter arm, them starting it again while still holding it inwards ever so slightly??
