Dodge Ram 3500 2003 Vehicle Speed ControlDodge Ram 3500 2003 Vehicle Speed Control Review #10242523 DODGE RAM 3500 2003 car safety problem was reported on Sept 15, 2008.DODGE RAM 3500 2003, manufactured by CHRYSLER LLC had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL . cruise control malfunction - 2003 dodge ram 3500, cummins diesel, manual trans. sept 15th, 2008, 9am i left my home at 3:30 am on my way to denver for work. i used the cruise control through the town of glenwood springs at 55-60 mph or so, then made my way into the glenwood canyon at just before 4:45 am, which has a posted speed of 50 mph. there was a construction project in the first tunnel in the canyon, so i tapped the brake and slowed to about 40 mph, in 6th gear. as i excited the construction area, i hit the 'resume' button for the cruise and the truck began to accelerate (approx 4:47 am). soon i was going over 70 mph and accelerating at full throttle. i tapped the brake and the cruise did not turn off... i hit the brake again, harder this time in case i didn't use enough pressure the first time. again, nothing. at this point the truck is running at 80+ mph and i'm coming up on a semi in the slow lane, same lane that i'm in. i had to swerve around the tractor-trailer, while at the same time attempting to shut the cruise control off, back on and off again, trying to stop the truck. as i get past the tractor-trailer i'm running well over 80 mph and i'm starting to panic. i start pumping the brakes over and over, attempting to control the trucks speed around one of the canyon corners. after 30 seconds the truck stopped it's full-throttle attack. i exited the canyon and kept driving for another 10 minutes or so, then pulled over on the side of the freeway. the engine was running at 2000 rpm. i drove to the next exit and parked. eventually the rpm's dropped to 1500 and i shut it off. i do not feel safe in that truck at all. my wife drives the truck more often than i do, it really scares me to think if she were driving when this happened. this issue was reported to chrysler on the 15th of sept, 2008. chrysler case# 17902313 trucks there was a required update on the ecm which was done and currently no recalls on this vin#. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 101000 miles. Dodge Ram 3500 2003 TiresDodge Ram 3500 2003 Tires Review #10292822 DODGE RAM 3500 2003 car safety problem was reported on Nov 18, 2009.DODGE RAM 3500 2003, manufactured by CHRYSLER LLC had a problem with TIRES . goodyear tire, wrangler sr/a, lt235/80r17e, manufacturer 1503, bsw. tire sidewall has extreme cracks on both sidewalls for a distance of 1 1/2 inches up from the rim of the tire, this problem is known as the" goodyear smile". the tires(7), are mounted on my 2003 dodge ram p/u (drw) 3500 as oem tires. this cracking is so extreme that i can actually push my finger nail into the cracks by about 2/16th's of an inch. goodyear tire store dealers have told me that this is an ozone defect and not a material defect, this truck has been garaged all its life when not in use. i have observed many other trucks with the same problem manufactured by the same company. in fact, the (5) goodyear tires lt235/85r16e that were installed as oem tires on my 2004 hitchhiker (nuwa) 5th wheel trailer were replaced by goodyear for cracking between the ribs length ways. i still have 7/32nds of tire tread left on these tires. the cracking is a manufacturing defect and they do have to be replaced before i can tow my trailer again as i am afraid that one or more of them will blow while on the road. *tr.Mileage was 62499 miles. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start lite also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
