Dodge Grand Caravan 2004 Steering Electric Power Assist SystemDodge Grand Caravan 2004 Steering Electric Power Assist System Review #10106126 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN 2004 car safety problem was reported on Jan 09, 2005.DODGE GRAND CARAVAN 2004, manufactured by DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPORATION had a problem with STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM . on three separate occasions my 2004 dodge grand caravan that has 11,500 miles has stalled. the first time the van stalled while trying to make a left turn out of a parking lot into traffic. the van was stuck in the road with cars coming from both directions, and luckily was not hit. the second time the van did not really stall, it just died back on dec 31st 2004 while going 50mph hour on a 6 lane divided highway. the van just died in the middle lane, nearly, causing an accident. the van did nothing when the gas pedal was pressed, and the power steering quit. we were able to coast off the road, put the van in park, and back to drive, and everything was okay. the third time back on january 9, 2005 the van died again while pulling out of a gas station. this time the car stalled, and the power steering quit. this caused us to loss control of the van, crossing into oncoming traffic with no shoulder, nearly hitting someone head on.*ak i had the van in the dealer?s shop on january 11, 2005 and was told nothing is wrong with the van. how can a brand new van stall 3 times for no reason? the next time the van dies i may not be so lucky, and people may be injured..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 11500 miles. (very expensive!!) on 7/6/06 at 49,179 miles, the front brakes were very shaky, and the front rotors were slightly warped, and had to be resurfaced again. on 10/17/06 at 52,762 miles, rotors had to be resurfaced again, since they were warped again. front brakes were done again on the vehicle, a little over 6k miles from the most recent brake replacement. on 12/11/06 at 54655 miles, the dealer could not find the problem, but decided to replace both front and back brakes. stated pad shims were jammed again adapter bracket, rotors were warped badly, rear brakes were out of adjustment, rattle clip missing. van at this time also had a bad pulsation when braking. dealer states pad shims were loose on pads and not aligned properly. front rotors resurfaced, and installed new front brake pads. rear brakes re-lined/replaced, rear drums resurfaced and replaced shoes. dealer still cannot find what is actually wrong with the vehicle that the brakes need to be replaced so frequently. *jb.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 39320 miles. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start lite also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
