Dodge Durango 2013 EngineDodge Durango 2013 Engine Review #10535370 DODGE DURANGO 2013 car safety problem was reported on Apr 01, 2013.DODGE DURANGO 2013, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with ENGINE . had horrible smell coming from cooling system. took in numerous times to dealership to try and fix. finally stumped the dealership asked star at chrysler headquarters. they immediately knew the issue and gave mechanics steps to fix. turns out the new "green friendly" engine coolant they are using on the new durangos was never tested. the coolant was interacting with anything rubber it came into contact with and was breaking down the rubber. star told them to replace every piece of rubber the coolant comes into contact with. it is now middle of august and the smell is still present and to date chrysler has not issued a service bulletin or recall on the coolant or hoses. we have submitted paper work for the lemon law. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 1500 miles. Dodge Durango 2013 Visibility/wiperDodge Durango 2013 Visibility/wiper Review #10561426 DODGE DURANGO 2013 car safety problem was reported on Oct 16, 2013.DODGE DURANGO 2013, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with VISIBILITY/WIPER . in march of 2013 i bought a brand new dodge durango and i've had an ongoing problem since i bought it. when i'm driving in the evening the reflection of other headlights, brake lights, and streetlights cause a shadow so that i have double vision of those images through my windshield. after several trips to the dealership for test drives and inspections they finally replaced the windshield. the new windshield is just as bad, when i went back to the dealership again they said this is how all the durango windshields look and they even took me for a test drive in a new 2014 durango to show me that this was how they all look. i am very frustrated, this is not acceptable the visibility is horrible and i feel the windshield is hurting my eyes. if they cannot find a solution to this problem i would like to return the car. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):1C4RDJAG7DC. Dodge Durango 2013 Electrical SystemDodge Durango 2013 Electrical System Review #10567464 DODGE DURANGO 2013 car safety problem was reported on Mar 03, 2014.DODGE DURANGO 2013, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . we have a 2013 dodge durango with aprox 1600 miles on it. i have noticed on two different days now that when i get into the vehicle and start it that the "reading lamps" that are up by the sunglasses holder located in the front top of the vehicle, i noticed that they are "on" ... and i have to manually turn them off. then on a different day i went to run errands, and i got in and out of the vehicle 3 times, and after all 3 occasions when i got back into the vehicle the lights were "on" again....there was no one in the car that could turned them on, and it was daylight outside every time. i'm not for sure what is going on but it worry's me a bit since i have seen these other people reporting lighting/electrical issues and possiable headliner fires! i see there is an open investigation with chrysler about this or a similar issue....i would like to add my incident to this as well...hoping they can get this figured out and find a fix to the risk/issue. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):1C4RDHAG6DC. Dodge Durango 2013 EngineDodge Durango 2013 Engine Review #10629494 DODGE DURANGO 2013 car safety problem was reported on Nov 11, 2013.DODGE DURANGO 2013, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with ENGINE . one month after purchasing vehicle, countless problems with brand new vehicle, but the biggest problem is the stuttering, or "fishbite", problem with the mds sensor that operates the active fuel management system. this supposed characteristic, as chrysler calls it, causes the vehicle to buck and jerk like the engine is going to cut out, between 40-80 mph on level ground and on hills. brought the vehicle into the dealership for this continuous problem, star case opened, techs from chrysler consulted and being told that its required to fuel with 89 octane, which is not stated on the sales sticker or the owners manual, which only states recommends 89 octane, not required. told to disable the eco system to only run on 8 cylinders, which is not why i purchased the vehicle. i purchased it for power, as well as fuel economy on the highway. so this last time i took to the dealership, the service manager disconnected the mds sensor and drove the vehicle, vehicle performed fine, reconnect the mds sensor and the problem continues. have also been told that the torque converter is locking up, once again a characteristic per chrysler techs and engineering. so, which lie is the lie and which lie the is the lie. lied to continuously, have not had calls returned from dealership to know what the status is of my vehicle, plus have continuously been blown off by chrysler cares group in detroit with my current case filed with chrysler, just tonight on 29 august 2014, it took me 8 times to contact my case managers because i was told i would be contacted two days ago, but they have been busy. load of crap, chrysler does not care!! months ago we received a recall regarding the brake booster. i called my dealership immediately (seeing as properly functioning brakes are important) and was told that the parts weren't in. months later and i have still heard nothing..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 2481 miles. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start liteĀ also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
