Dodge Dodge Truck 1997 Suspension Front Control Arm Upper Ball JointDodge Dodge Truck 1997 Suspension Front Control Arm Upper Ball Joint Review #10096268 DODGE DODGE TRUCK 1997 car safety problem was reported on May 01, 2002.DODGE DODGE TRUCK 1997, manufactured by DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPORATION had a problem with SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:UPPER BALL JOINT . it was requested that dodge dakota owners log information as to if they have excessively worn ball joints and / or failures. i am an engineer at an equipment manufacturer and believe this is a failure due to excessive wear at low mileage. my 1997 dakota slt has 70,000 miles on it now and since i do not drive it much i was hoping there would be recall before it was necessary to replace the joints.a number of cab plastic issues which were design changed (year or two later) and not recalled, misc items breaking - drivers window switch plate, automatic gear selector handle cracking, ash try pivot point (non-smoker - broke when i tried to clean it!). not to mention the 3.9 l issues of poor acceleration / response due to what it sounds is a production tolerance issue with throttle position sensors. finally the transmission shift points and clutch fill times do not seem to have much time spent on them. the positive and negative grading of the truck is horrible due to numerous shifts, no (or not enough) anti-hunting time for holding a downshift. i am providing my information as to further add to the database of consumers that feel something needs to be done about these poor design issues.*ak.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 0 miles. Dodge Dodge Truck 1997 Exterior Lighting HeadlightsDodge Dodge Truck 1997 Exterior Lighting Headlights Review #10253113 DODGE DODGE TRUCK 1997 car safety problem was reported on Dec 28, 2008.DODGE DODGE TRUCK 1997, manufactured by CHRYSLER LLC had a problem with EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS . for several years i have been experiencing a sudden loss of my headlights while driving my 1997 dodge ram 1500 with 82000 miles on it. i noticed that i experienced this problem much more often when operating the high beams for 10-15 minutes. i took it in to a service shop on two occasions but they could never diagnose the problem. on 12/28/08, i began smelling an electrical smell in the cab and the headlights suddenly went out. i pulled to the side of the road and turned the truck off. after 10-15 minutes, the headlights worked again. the next day i discovered that there had been a recall issued (#819) for 1994-1997 dodge ram 3500 series for this exact problem. however, because my truck is a 1997 ram 1500, the dealer says the recall doesn't apply and they refuse to fix it. the recall notice describes the exact problem and the fact that it is safety and fire hazard. the dealer says that since it is not in there recall database they are not obligated to repair it and that i must fix it and they will notify me later if it does get recalled. they told me to keep my receipts. the cost is one thing but what really upsets me is the hazard this problem creates and their response to it! *tr.Mileage was 82000 miles. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start lite also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
what could be causeing thjis problem.
