Chrysler Crossfire 2005 TiresChrysler Crossfire 2005 Tires Review #10126696 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005 car safety problem was reported on June 01, 2005.CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005, manufactured by DAIMLERCHRYSLER CORPORATION had a problem with TIRES . faulty tires on 2005 chrysler crossfire convetible. continental tires came standard on this $40,000 car. we were told that they were "run flats". not true! the car had less than 1,000 when minor road debris caused the left rear tire to go flat. car had to be towed and the tire exploded when tire store tried to repair it. about a month later a small nail pierced the "side" of the right rear and when taken to be repaired, the tire split when taken off the wheel. chrysler, continental tire and jim archer chrysler did nothing. we ended up replacing all 4 tires with michelins at a very big expense, since the car come with no spare. nothing but a can of fix flat. jim archer chrysler threated to call the police, when we approached then regarding the tires. absolutely no help!.Mileage was 1000 miles. "lack of power when at a stop, even though you might be mashing in the gas pedal (pedal to the metal)" so if you fear for your life when you're in the middle of an intersection and your car won't move, don't worry because its normal? i believe i have a major safety issue with this car because multiple times i have been stopped on the road and then unable to move because my car does not register that i'm pushing down on the pedal. this past week-end it happened and i had a truck coming at me but the car would not move! thankfully the driver swerved around my car with a lot a honking and such. but because they would not replicate that problem, they say its fine. i'm concerned that this will happen again and i won't be lucky enough to get out of the way! *nm.Mileage was 5643 miles. Chrysler Crossfire 2005 Air Bags FrontalChrysler Crossfire 2005 Air Bags Frontal Review #10292028 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005 car safety problem was reported on July 10, 2009.CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with AIR BAGS:FRONTAL . i was involved in an at-fault wreck on july 10, 2009. my foot slipped off the brake pedal when slowing down for a traffic light and i was unable to stop my slowing car. i crashed into the rear of a ups truck. my chest slammed into the steering wheel because the driver's airbag failed to deploy. the passenger's airbag did. the police and fireman were extremely shocked and it is written up the police accident report. i need help in contacting chrysler concerning this incident. my car was only 4 years old and had only 46,000 miles on it. i am now disabled and can no longer work to support myself. the hospital sent me home from the emergency room and pain continued to worsen in my neck and lower back until i was forced to stop working after 33 years in the safety field. i have spoken with several attorneys and they have informed me they will not take the case because chrysler is in bankruptcy. big deal! they are still selling cars!!!!! the government bailed them out to the tune of millions of dollars, their executives still received millions of dollars in bonuses, etc. and i, an owner of one of their vehicles, which i longed for since it was release and am now disable due to a malfunction of the airbag, which is documented by police. this will not be my final effort to receive damages from chrysler. my next step is to contact my state representatives and senator, and to then write letters to every newspaper who will print my letter. this is a crying shame. i have been in executive safety my entire career and this takes the cake!!!!!!!! i deserve more that an excuse. i deserve an ear with chrysler! if i do not hear soon, i will take my next step. i will continue until i receive compensation for my loss. loss in the ability to support myself. *tr .Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 46000 miles. Chrysler Crossfire 2005 Exterior LightingChrysler Crossfire 2005 Exterior Lighting Review #10366780 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005 car safety problem was reported on Nov 17, 2010.CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with EXTERIOR LIGHTING . the chrysler crossfire convertible back windows on some cars lose their adhesive bond and the windows come fall partly apart. this allow rain water to enter under the window, where the roof latch is. there is a way for water to enter the trunk there. this water finds its way to two trunk cavities on the bottom, and the water has no place to exit. on the right side is the security module that can be saturated that the foam insulation, actually can store this water as a sponge. and the water can then cause a problem in the security area. module. lights coming on flashing and sirens blaring ay all kind of times.. that the battery can actually be discharged leaving one stranded. had the problem happen, had to take the truck apart to bail out water, quite a lot, there is no exit hole for the water to leave that it builds up around the security module and the foam around it, soaks up water. that while the module looks good, i seen a burned area and smelled a electrical problem. there was so much water in the foam that it weight was real heavy. solution have a drain hole in the bottom of both trunk pits, below the jack. that a material that does not absorb water be used. place a cover over the module to weatherize it.. what should have been done that a soft rubber seal should have sealed around the roof latch hole inside that the outside is okay until the window seal lets water in. *tr.Mileage was 83259 miles. Chrysler Crossfire 2005 Visibility/wiperChrysler Crossfire 2005 Visibility/wiper Review #10515305 CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005 car safety problem was reported on Apr 05, 2013.CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE 2005, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with VISIBILITY/WIPER . the rear glass window in the convertible soft top has come unglued and is falling out. this is a severe issue with this make of car and chrysler refuses to repair or replace it. at one time, chrysler agreed to extend the warranty on these vehicles to 10 years or 100,000 miles but only to crossfires that were shipped to certain southern states, such as south carolina, georgia, florida, tennessee, alabama, mississippi and texas. they feel only the cars that are in these warmer climate states will be affected. my car is a 2005 model that i purchased as a used vehicle from chrysler dealership in july 2012, who did not tell me about this problem and refuse to repair or replace the top. it was shipped to mi in 2005 and then was registered in sc in 2006. my feeling is all of the affected cars should be under warranty as it's a manyfacturer defect. now i will be responsible to pay an additional $2,300 for a new top that will eventurally have the rear window fall out again. google this problem and you will see it's nationwide if not worldwide. a class action lawsuit needs to be started against chrysler and mercedes. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 79645 miles. head light switch working backwards and parking lights wont go out on 2000 concorde. we've already replaced bcm with no change 09 Crystler 300 driver front door will not lock or unlock with keyless entry. Same thing here, interior lights keep flashing on and off, driving me nuts. I'll never buy another chrysler, because of all the problems I've had with this car. fuel gauge will not work, the air bag light on,air condition will not work right. my pt2006 manual has a problem with shifting. clutch in and hard to get into gears - jam them in - master/slave just changed, still have a problem chrysler sebring convertible top squeels going up and down 2006 Chrysler 300, 36,892 miles, dome lights and lights over doors and led mileage came o n after car shut off and doors locked.
