Chevrolet Steering Gear Box (other Than Rack And Pinion)

My 2003 Impalas dashboard,steering wheel & park lights won't go out after car is turned off. Smelled smoke inside car like wires had been burning. Can't figure out what's going on with this car.

I HAVE 2004 nd 2007 they both have steering column rattle. Cause one shaft slide's in to the other shaft the factory grease them but the two shafts do not move up or down very far so the grease can not grease the shaft. What it need is a grease fi
