FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY FAILED AT 33,000 WITH AN OUT OF POCKET COST TO ME OF $300. THIS IS ON A 2001 CHEVROLET SILVERADO EXTENDED CAB. THERE WERE NO CONSEQUENCES OF THE FAILURE AS I HAD IT REPLACED. HOWEVER THE CONSEQUENCES COULD BE LIFE THREATENING SHOULD REPAIRS NOT BE PERFORMED IN TIME. WHILE AT THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP THE SERVICE MANAGER EXPLAINED TO ME THEY REPLACE THIS ITEM TO THE TUNE OF 2 OR 3 VEHICLES EVERY OTHER DAY! my 91 silverado will shift into gear on start up but after the trans warms up i have no gears at all My 89 Blazer suddenly accelerates, and I have to ride the brakes to keep it from "jumping" foward. This is causing my brakes to really squeal, and the mechanic is telling me that he cannot find the cause. How do I know if I need a new powersteering pump in my 2003 tahoe, will the fuel light work even if the gas gauge is broken?
