My 89 buick riviera has trouble cold starting but the engine will turn on and will start on first crank everytime after. Its the first start and in the a.m. it takes longer. Is it a fuel problem or electrical? i have a 1987 buick century and it wasnt starting i thought it was the fuel pump then the filter then the injector after all this turns out the injector is not getting power any suggestions I have a 1991 Buick Century I ran out of gas. I added 4 gallons of gas and still could not get it started. I recently purchased a pre-owned 1992 Buick Rendevous. I have just discovered a rubber hose (similar to a radiator hose) connecting the refill port on the rear quarter panel to the fuel tank-- with standard hose clamps.
